BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – SpaceX will attempt to launch their Falcon 9 rocket early Saturday morning from Cape Canaveral.

Weather forecasters from the 45th Space Wing say weather conditions are 70-percent favorable around launch time.

Launch window opens at 2:48 a.m. ET

On Friday, SpaceX scrubbed the early morning launch due to a helium leak.

Saturday’s weather forecast shows upper-level low begins a turn towards the northeast, cloudiness should diminish through the day. Isolated showers and thunderstorms remain a threat across Central Florida as the atmosphere remains unstable, according to 45th Space Wing.

After sunset, clouds from any afternoon convection will begin to dissipate and should be mostly gone by launch time.

The Cargo Dragon spacecraft to deliver the next shipment of supplies and equipment to the International Space Station.

This is the 17th SpaceX mission under NASA’s Commercial Resupply Services contract.
